Kaztec Chairman Expresses Delight at Shell Contract Signing

July 3, 2013___The Executive Chairman of Kaztec Engineering Limited (KEL), Sir Emeka Offor, has expressed his delight at the recent signing of the contract for Trans-Niger Pipeline Loopline (TNPL) Package 1, between KEL and the Shell Petroleum Development Company of Nigeria (SPDC). The objective of the Package 1 project is to construct a 30-inch X 12.5 kilometre Loopline from the Ogale Manifold to TP 1, both in Rivers State.

 

Sir Emeka Offor stated that Kaztec relishes this opportunity and has reassured Shell of its commitment to deliver, and even surpass their expectations on this project.

The signing of the contract took place on the 3rd of July, 2013 at the SPDC office in Port Harcourt, Rivers State.

Kaztec Engineering Limited, a 100% indigenous company, is a leader in the fabrication of drilling and production platforms and other specialized structures in the oil and gas industry. Projects previously executed include the procurement and installation of a 24-inch Gas Transmission pipeline, spanning 107 kilometres from Calabar to Adanga, and the rehabilitation of the Oben-Sapele Gas Tranmission Pipeline, along with the upgrade of its metering station. Kaztec is currently executing a contract (TB 1921 project) for Addax Petroleum Development (Nigeria) Limited for the installation of pipelines, topsides and other subsea equipment in Oil Mining Lease 123, offshore Calabar, under a Kaztec/Addax Alliance.
